Being the third child certainly has its disadvantages. One of those being that we really don't get her pictures taken very often. The older two kids had lots of professional pictures done. So, while having Christmas pictures taken I had some pictures taken of sweet Kate. They turned out pretty cute!

Christmas Picture Chaos!
I had this crazy idea to try and get the kids pictures taken together! We have tried this many times before, but I always seem to be hopeful that all three kids will smile, be happy and that the pictures will turn out great. We did end up getting a couple of good shots, however, we also got some pictures of what life is really like in the Clark house.
This picture describes the Clark "chaos" that happens daily (hourly!):
Honestly, Isaiah was falling over, Addison was telling the photographer "no" and Katelyn was crawling away.
Here are a couple of the best shots:
This was the best we could do. At least two out of the three were smiling!
I love his smile (and that little dimple)!
This is actually a great picture of Addi Grace! We couldn't get her to sit still for 2 seconds. The photographer had to try and get a photo of her while she was running away.
Precious little Katelyn! She has the sweetest little smile!
Happy Holidays from our home to yours!

Sweet Little Katelyn!
I just had to post this picture of Katelyn. She is such a sweet, happy little girl.
I had to take her to the doctor (for the seventh time this month!) this morning to have her lungs, ears and cough checked on. She also had to have some blood work done. She was such a trooper! We stopped at a nice little boutique on the way home and bought this adorable little hat. We then went to lunch with daddy and she showed off her new hat!

The Sights and Sounds of Christmas
Christmas time is my favorite time of the year. I love the lights, the decorations and everything that has to do with Christmas. One of my favorite places to go is to the Gaylord Texan. Last year we had a great time enjoying the lights and all of the Christmas decorations. We also viewed the ICE exhibit, which we decided not to do this year. First, it is very expensive and second, it is way too cold! We decided to go to the Gaylord again this year and make it a new family tradtion. We had a great time taking pictures and just enjoying the sights.
"No Santa, no."
Addison Grace was not fond of Santa at all. She refused to get her picture taken with him and repeatedly said, "No Santa, no." Isaiah and Katelyn had their pictures taken with Santa while Addison stood on the side and just watched.
"Who is that woman and why would I want to sit with her?"
We then went to see Ms. Clause and the reindeer. Isaiah loved the reindeer but refused to have his picture taken with Ms. Clause. Here was my conversation with him:
"Mom, who is that woman and why would I want to with her?"
"That is Ms. Clause, Santa's wife."
"She is way too little to be Santa's wife (he meant young)." And yes, she was very young!
"Well are you sure you don't want a picture with her."
"Yes, I'll just stand by you."
We did manage to snap a few pictures of the kids. Enjoy and happy holidays!

Welcome!
Welcome to the Clark family blog. It is my hope that I can keep you up to date on the kids and our life as a family of five. Let me start by introducing us to you:
Me, Melissa (wife, mother and teacher) - So that basically explains me. I'm a wife, mother to three sweet babies and a teacher. No, I do not stay home with my kids. First, we couldn't afford for me to, second, I truly believe I was called to be a teacher. I never pictured my life turning out the way that it has, but I wouldn't change it for the world. I'll elaborate more on this at another time.
Jason (my husband) - Jason is an incredible father and husband. He keeps me going on days when I just want to cry and helps me understand that life is too short to stress over everything.
Isaiah (our first-born) - Isaiah is our Guatemalan prince. When he smiles, he has a dimple that melts my heart. He is truly a blessing from God. I could not imagine what our life would be like without him.
Addison Grace - Our curly haired princess is a little spitfire. If I had the amount of energy she had, I would get everything done that I planned on getting done. She is the queen of saying "no" and smiling at you while she says it!
Katelyn - Our sweet little angel girl. She was a complete surprise, wait, that's an understatement. She is as laid back as her daddy and a sweet cuddlebug. I love that she cries whenever I leave the room.
Oh, and we have three dogs. Let's just say our small "starter" house is way too crowded. Maybe when the kids get to school we can afford another one. Until then, life will continue in this small house just as always!
