Our Little Fighter

Levi turned two months old on Saturday. It's hard to believe he is two months old and that he has spent half his little life sick, very sick.
We were at Children's hospital two weeks ago for six nights as Levi fought bronciolitis and pneumonia. We were released on February 13th and on February 29th we rushed Levi to the doctor as he struggled to breathe and started running fever. We were admitted to Children's and sent to the ICU that day for RSV. That night things went from bad to worse. He was put on a ventilator on Thursday and has remained on it since then. He also has a collapsed lung, is anemic and has had many other things just not go his way.
While things are tough, Levi has continued to fight. We are amazed that our sweet little boy is so strong.
To say that this his heartbreaking would be an understatement. We have shed many tears for many hours and just pray that our sweet boy continues to improve.
This picture was taken this morning. We were so excited to see his little eyes!
Tomorrow is a big day, they are going to try and take him off the ventilator. However, we have been warned that he may not respond well and may have to be put right back on. We will continue to take one small step forward as he fights to beat this virus. Please keep our sweet boy in your thoughts and prayers.
Until later,
